Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TO COUNTERACT the effect of spurious parts supplierE Perkins Engines have launched a £0.5m world-wide spare campaign. The new service, called "Powerpart", is aimed a attracting a large part of the £120m spurious parts market. Th entire market potential is £500m, of which Perkins claim £40m.

Perkins executive director of sales and marketing J. Felker told CM that the spurious suppliers could justify a claim that their parts would fit. But the real issue was if they would work.

Perkins, who export 80 per cent of their production, have stocked their 2000 dealers with 1000 fast-moving parts. For the first time dealers are to be encouraged to sell on to non franchised outlets, such at motorway service areas.

The company is concernet over the amount of counter feiting of parts which take place particularly in the Fa East. It is not unheard of it Britain, according to grout marketing director Davit Allen.

Perkins claim a 24-hour Ut service for vehicle off the roat (VOR) orders and 48 hours fo orders outside the UK.
