Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Rackets

One of the rackets worked in Hong Kong has been exposed by the local Hester Rancid. Some furniture removers quote a rate for the job, dump the furniture on the footpath and then refuse to move it any further until a much higher price is paid. One of the culprits is a bucket shop calling itself the Pak Fook Removal Service, which was alleged to have quoted $80 and then demanded up to $700 to complete the removal.

I have heard of one or two British removers with no greater scruples. They thrive on the gullibility of customers who refuse to acknowledge that in this life there are no bargains.
