MAGIRUS Deutz, is planning to move out of its Win sford factory to Warrington New Town in the next two years. Magirus, is a partner in Iveco, with Fiat which already has a car parts operation in Warrington.
It is understood Iveco is negotiating the purchase of custom-built premises on a new town industrial estate.
Magirus opened at Winsfo six years ago and emplo about 125 people. It assemb] about 1,500 heavy lorries year from parts imported frc Germany, and the compai has promised that any of t Winsford workforce wl wanted to move would be at to do so.
