the Potteries Motor Traction Co. Ltd. He will succeed G. M. Newberry, who is to take up an appointment on the executive staff of the British Electric Traction Co. Ltd. Mr. Wyke Smith was appointed to his present post of general manager of the Yorkshire Traction Co. Ltd. in January 1966.
George Shearmur, director of Ceag Ltd., retires on December 31, after 47 years in the motor trade. Kenneth Poison, 27, technical assistant with the Northern General Transport Co. Ltd., Gateshead, has been appointed engineer with the Mexborough and Swinton Traction Co., Rotherham.
F. E. Wills, has joined Kismet Ltd. from the Rolls-Royce organization, to head its newly created marketing department. He will be responsible for all facets of marketing both at home and overseas.
