THE INTEGRATION OF Lloyd's Transport road haulage services with those of P. and M. Kaye Ltd., of London and Warrington, was announced on Monday. The new service will operate under the name of Translloyd.
The road fleet now consists of 150 trucks, 250 trailers and 50 TIR trailers whilst warehouse accommodation amounts to 200,000 sq. ft. in London, similar amounts in Manchester and Warrington and 60,000 sq. ft. in Liverpool. Mr. Louis J. Manson deputy chairman of the holding company, Cope Allman International Ltd., said the new integrated service would make the two companies better able to take advantage of the changing shape of the transport industry, particularly the Freightliner services and container services.
