The R.H.E. objected on the ground that the applicant had not produced any evidence that a bigger vehicle was needed. It was stated that the applicant had decided to obtain a larger lorry on the suggestion of one of its customers, Steel's Engineering Installations, Ltd. This company said that its products were becoming longer and heavier, and a bigger lorry was needed to handle them.

Granting the application, Mr. S. W. Nelson, the Authority, said that there was no evidence to show that the change would take business from the R.H.E. It was merely a question of using a lorry more suited .to a customer's needs MAGGS CASE REX. APPEAL POSSIBLE
