• Teesside Crown Court imposed fines of £7,800 on 12 drivers and two fitters employed by AW Biker, trading as Bikers of Bedale, when they admitted specimen offences of falsifying tachograph charts.
The company, and its managing director, Anthony Biker, denied conspiring with the men to falsify tachograph charts and aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring them to falsify charts. Anthony Biker also denied three counts of falsifying charts. Their trial is expected to take two weeks and a date has yet to be fixed.
