AN INDEPENDENT group of re moval companies has joined to gether in an effort to speed tq their services.
Known as Britannia Movers In ternational, the company wil pool the resources of 13 indi vidual members. These are: Fox The Mover; K. W. Deve reux and Sons of Teesside; To butts; Jays of Stourbridge Oakes of Kidderminster Robinsons and Ross Ltd; Mt Flay Removals; Langdon Remo vals; Harrison and Rowley Ltd Pink and Jones Ltd; E. Brigg: and Sons Ltd; Thomas Maxtec and Sons Ltd; and Whitby C Oliver and Sons Ltd.
The new company will not interfere with the normal running of the 13 individual companies, but will concentrate solely on international removals. The new consortium will deal with groupage itself, which will cut out middlemen and provide a better service for customers, according to Mike Devereux of Billinghambased K. W. Devereux and Sons.
