Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

UPN relocation will enable expansion

UNITED PALLET Network (UPN) is moving from its Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire hub to a facility in Staffordshire, which will allow it to almost double throughput.

The pallet network has signed a five-and-ahalf year lease for the site at Fradley Park, previously occupied by Palletforce. It says it is making a significant investment in the facility and plans to begin operations there in August.

UPN's Melton Mowbray hub has capacity for 3,500 pallets, but the move will allow the final to handle a maximum daily throughput of 6,000 pallets.

Dave Brown, IJPN director, says: "Relocating to a more central location will allow our members to reduce their costs and significantly improve our green credentials.

He adds that the upgrade is vital to cope with UPN's current growth rate. Last month, volumes were 33% higher than March 2009.
