• Scania's used truck roadshow gets underway tomorrow (Friday 16 April) at Hamilton Racecourse. As reported (CM 11-17 March) these are "drive and buy" events supported by local distributors.
Operators will be invited to check out up to 50 used Scanias at each venue (see list, right).
Test drives will be available, and finance can be arranged on the spot so buyers will be able to drive their acquisitions away. And a P113 4x2 tractor from Scania's Approved Used Truck Scheme will be offered as the prize in a competition running throughout the events.
Prospective buyers will be offered refreshments, but Scania director Frank Andrew says: "We're selling used trucks, not holding a bloody garden party." For more details contact Richard Hall on 01908 329377.
