• Southern Counties Fuels is offering a "four-figure reward" for information leading to the conviction of vehicle parts thieves.
The company suffered its second theft in seven weeks last weekend, losing hub-reduction and other equipment from Leyland Freighters.
Police say that other companies in the South-Fast have also been targeted. Southern Counties Fuels' operations director Clive Tester says: "These thefts have cost thousands of pounds, aside from the disruption caused to delivery schedules.
"We nave some clues as to the culprits," he adds, "and now require hard evidence to bring a certain conviction."
