MR. W. NEWLAND WILLIAMS has been appointed sales manager of Dunedin Engineering Co., Ltd.
MR. P. A. WHITE has been appointed a director of Maidstone and District Motor Services, Ltd., in place of MR. W. H. F. MEPSTED, who has resigned.
MR. G. BEEBEE has been appointed comptroller of the British divisions of the Yale and Towne Manufacturing Co. He succeeds MR. J. 0. SEWELL.
MR. ALAN McFuturi has been appointed a director of two companies in the Western Motor Holdings Group, the Plymouth Transport Co., Ltd., and Drake Hire, Ltd.
LORD ADDISON has been elected president of the Institute of the Motor Industry. He will succeed MR. STANLEY S. DAWES, who has been president since 1950, in July.
MR. E. G. Durrirua has been re-elected chairman of the Portsmouth and District Area of the Traders' Road Transport Association. MR. P. DUPREE is again vice-chairman.
Ma. HARRY OATES has been elected chairman of the Cheshire and Flintshire Joint Sub-area of the Road Haulage Association. Vice-chairmen are MR. EDGAR WILLIAMS and MR. M. PARDOE.
MR. A. FIELDING has been appointed a member of the East Midland Transport Users' Consultative Committee until May 31, 1962. As a representative of commerce he replaces Ma. S. FRENCH, who has resigned.
MR. A. S. Dicx, managing director of Standard-Triumph International, Ltd., has been made a governor of the College of Aeronautics, Cranfield, and is the first representative of the motor industry to hold such a position.
MR. C. W. VAN ALLEN is to become managing director of Stewart-Warner. Ltd., on July 1. At the same time Ma. S. D. HAGERMAN, who has directed the company's operations since 1953, will go to Chicago as export manager of the Stewart-Warner Corporation.
MR. MAURICE BRIDGEMAN will become chairman of the British Petroleum Co., Ltd., on July 1. The present chairman, Srn NEVILLE GASS, having reached normal retirement age, is due to relinquish his position. MR. J. M. PAyrngsoN has been appointed to the board and it is also intended to appoint MR. M. A. L. BANKS.
MR. B. G. BONALI ACK, deputy chairman of Bonallack. and Sons, Ltd., has been re-elected president of the National Federation of Vehicle Trades. MR. R. E. SUGDEN, director and general manager of Eastern Coach Works, Ltd., and MR. H. J. 1316G, director of Duple Motor Bodies, Ltd., have been reappointed vice-presidents. MR. F. R. Fox, managing director of Vanden Plas (England) '1923, Ltd., has been re-elected. treasurer.
