The Rig-Guard 2000 Series from Onix Technology comprises an alarm control panel in the driver's cab and a passive infra-red detector that protects the vehicle and its contents. If the TIR security cable is attacked or disconnected, the alarm is activated and an acoustic transponder enables the driver to monitor noise in the trailer.

Enigma AIS from Enigma
Vehicle Systems is a self-fit, compact and robust unit designed to provide a warning if the TIP cord is broken. It has an optional sensor to indicate the load area has been violated. It can be fitted anywhere on the vehicle or trailer but is best placed on the rear or the front.

A "sound grenade" from Commercial Asset Tracking Systems. Sensors will trigger a speaker in the trailer to emit a "square", high pitched sound causing anybody in the back to exit. It is likely to be linked with an automatic release of the trailer doors. Cost expected to be around £1,000.
