• Folkestone coachbuilder Dormobile, which was acquired last March by automotive engineering design consultancy KBD. has developed a new range of midibuses.
They will be based initially on Mercedes and Iveco chassis-cowls, but Leyland Daf and Renault-based versions arc under consideration.
The 25, 29 and 33-seaters feature all-steel fully stressed bodies with coachwork that is slightly wider than Dormobile's standard Routemaker design.
A Mercedes-based model will be on display at next month's Bus and Coach show.
