An addition to the D25 series engines is now available ith charge-cooling and Lrbocharging, which pushes itput up to 235 kW (320 bhp). aximum torque is 1350 Nm 95 lbft) at 1600 rpm.
This engine is available for e MAN underfloor models ongside the naturally pirated 177 kW (240 bhp) Tsion.
Chassis frame changes were ,eded to allow the new unit be fitted, but these have in ct reduced overall weight by Okg (772 lb).
MAN has incorporated plas: piping with plug-in sockets r the brakes as well as desictors.
The charge-cooled, turboLarged engines will be adually introduced on semirward and bonnetted hides. Changes have been also made to the forward control cabs, which now have a socalled vario system with new panelling for all sheet-metal parts, aimed at stopping the formation of cold areas.
Modified roofs and bunks have also been incorporated and many extras such as air conditioning and refrigerators can be specified.
Also making its debut at Frankfurt, as the link between the joint MAN-VW range of 6-9 tonners is the 10.136F, a 10-tonner.
Many components from the combined range, including the cab, engine and gearbox are used for the model.
