THE DVLA SAYS it will launch a consultation by the end of the year into whether people with diabetes should be allowed to drive HG Vs.
Following the DVLA's announcement earlier this year that it did not have to change the law, a public consultation is welcomed by would-be drivers afflicted with the disorder.
Would-be driver Archie Meechan Says: -this should never have happened in the first place, it should have been done years ago."
