The Traffic Management Act 2004 (Commencement No.1 and Transitional Provision) (England) Order 2004, CIF 4 October 2004 This commencement order brings into force provisions contained in the 2004 Act relating to increases in penalties for summary offences under the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991, the designation of strategic roads in London and the application of surplus income from parking places.

The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2004, CIF 1 January 2005 These regulations amend the speed limiter requirements to implement the European Directive which introduces speed limiters to goods vehicles over 1.5 tonnes and passenger vehicles with eight or more passenger seats.
