Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO regulations, one to amend sections 68 and 72 of the Road Traffic Act, 1972, and the other to amend the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1971, have been laid before Parliament.

The effect of these regulations, which come into force on October 21, is to amend our law to permit vehicles having lighting, which conforms to provisions of the EEC Council Directive on the installation of lighting.

In addition, these amendments provide for obligatory front lamps, rear lamps, stop lamps, direction indic lamps and reflectors, typ proved to the appropriate Directive.
