GLASGOW Passenger Transport Executive's 1000 buses could cease to operate today, Friday, unless a settlement is reached with the 670 maintenance men.
The men are demanding an increase of £10 per week plus a number of fringe benefits. They have rejected £7.20.
It would only take two days non-cooperation by maintenance staff to take every bus off the roads.
