PASSENGER transport was discussed at the first-ever municipal transport operators' conference, this week.
The conference was arranged by the Association of District Councils (ADC) in Eastbourne.
Government spokesman in the House of Lords, Baroness Stedman, the principal speaker, examined current transport policies.
Links between train and buses were spotlighted by R. B. Reid of the British Railways Board who also underlined the importance of BR.
