TN a new mobile exhibition unit, I designed and built for Hoover, Ltd., the Deplirex system of construction is employed. The nominal dimensions of 1h.f. trailer body, which was built by Sparshatts, Ltd., Portsmouth, are 7 ft. 6 in. by 22 ft., and when extended the width is increased to 14 ft.

In fine weather, three of the body can he opened to give an

unimpeded view of the Hoover products. Half the expanded wails fold up to form a canopy. Steps are arranged at two corners at which points there are decorative aluminium masts for displaying the operator's name at the head.

The interior has veneered panelling in light oak with murals of the company's products painted on a black background. Appointments include built-in writing desks, water storage tank, water heaters and, concealed taps and drainage for use when demonstrating washing machines. The wiring system is for 110v.. mains current being transformed to this value.

It is intended that this mobile exhibition will supplement the work of the concern's existing mobile unit, but in addition to its use at agricultural shows, it will tour the country during the winter.
