Truck registrations over 3.5 tonnes GVW rallied slightly during October after their dramatic 36% slump in September (Cif 17-23 Oct). But registrations se far this year are well down on 2001, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SNIFF).
A total of 4,842 trucks were registered during October, fewer than September's 5,517 but still10% up on October 200t Registrations so far this year stand at 43,171; down 9%.
