• Truck sales are still falling but the slump shows signs of bottoming out.
Figures for last month show a 5% fall in registrations of trucks and artics over 3.5 tonnes from October 1990. But they have dropped 35% in the year so far compared with the first • 10 months of last year, according to the SMMT.
