• Cummins is increasing the drain intervals on its 10 and 14-litre engines thanks to an increase in sump capacity.
The company has also announced plans to introduce a 261kW (350hp) version of its charge-cooled Lb O engine "in the near future". It is currently top rated at 242kW (325hp).
Changes to the B and C engines are designed to increase durability as well as paving the way for increased power outputs.
