• Robert Miller (Contractors) Ltd., of Bridge of Weir, failed to appear before the Scottish LA. Mr. A. B. Birnie, in Glasgow on Monday, to give evidence on figures provided at a previous hearing. For the company, Mr. James Law said that there had been an unfortunate slip in his office which resulted in failure to notify the firm of the appearance that day. This was a most gnusual situation and one for which he must take responsibility. TI situation had come to light too late to have representative of the firm to appear that da.
