Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PLANS FOR AN Asda superstore on the site occupied by a Nottingham haulage operator should he submitted to the local council in a few weeks time, it emerged last week.

Asda is planning to build a store on a site at Langley Mill, which is partly used by specialist heavy haulier Heanor Haulage.

The supermarket giant is planning a 36,000ft= store with 354 parking spaces. Amber Valley Council says there have been informal talks with the company, with a formal planning application expected in a few weeks Asda has carried out its own local consultation process, but the council says it is likely it will also conduct one as part of the planning process.

Heanor says it is likely to move its operations near its present site as part of the redevelopment.

The heavy haulier has laid off five staff recently, but still employs 55 people and runs 30 vehicles, all 44 tonnes or heavier.
