Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Renault will be staying with SCR technology for its Euro-5 truck range. Similar to Volvo, the company is increasing the power output of some engines in the process. Starting with the 4.8-litre fourcylinder DXi5 fitted to the Midlum the engine will be available in Euro-5 ratings at 180hp and 220hp.

Power outputs have also been on the increase for the DXi7 seven-litre Euro-5 ratings, which include 270hp, 300hp, 310hp and 340hp.

Modifications to DXi7 models for Euro-5 include a new wastegate turbocharger, new heat shields and a pre-catalytic converter for 180hp, 270hp and 300hp models.

Euro-5 DXi11 11-litre variants are similarly more powerful and include 380hp, 430hp and 460hp. Renault claims a 1% reduction in fuel consumption for the 460hp version compared with the 450hp Euro-4 variant when fitted to the Premium Long Distance. The range-topping 13-litre DXi13 offers outputs of 440hp, 480hp and 520hp.

DX111 modifications include a new cooling circuit, variable-flow water pump, an oil thermostat and cooled pistons. The DXi13 gains new pistons and a new silencer.

EEV variants of all engines will be available, with the first engines scheduled to appear around autumn 2009, and EEV engines will be phased in over the following few months.
