Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A former Iveco Ford marketing chief has won undisclosed damages against the manufacturer after being horrifically injured when a truck overturned on a test track.

Four years ago Jonathan Hayes, 36, was a passenger in the vehicle when the driver lost control on a bend of Leicestershire's Bruntingthorpe Aero drome test circuit. Devastating back injuries have left Hayes, of Berkhampsted, Herts, paralysed from the shoulders downwards and in a wheelchair needing fulltime carers.

This week the High Court in London heard that Iveco Ford had admitted liability and had agreed to pay a sum of damages as well as Hayes' costs.
