Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

with two splendid new titles to jog an old man's memories.

British Lorries of the Sixties by Peter Davies is a large format hardback with many colour plates detailing the vehicles that got on with the business of delivering the goods while the young folks were busy "swinging" and listening out for "good vibes".

The other new title is Golden Days of Heavy Haulage, by Bob Tuck, an expert writer in this field. Again, the volume is handsomely illustrated. New titles later this year from Roundoak include Fifty Years of Open Cast Coal Mining (about vehicles used in the industry), and a transport history of brewer Whitbread.

The Hawk has three copies of British Lorries of the Sixties to give away to the first three readers who can tell him the type of raincoat which became the hallmark of a British Prime Minister elected in 1964. Answers on a postcard by 29 May.
