• Three logistics experts have been headhunted by Beck and Pollitzer, part of the Transport Development Group's distribution division, to develop business in the consumer and manufacturing sectors and strengthen links with Europe.
Ken Roberts, former senior development manager with Exel Logistics, heads the new European Business Development Team. He also has responsibility for Beck and Pollitzer's newly acquired French divisions, SOMAF and Baillivet.
Ex-Transfleet Services regional director David Norton is operations director with responsiblity for the company's automotive and international divisions. Keith Procter, former general manager with TNT Contract Distribution, heads the new industrial manufacturing division which has contracts with ICI Paints, Toshiba and International Paints.
