True to its tradition of "No business papers at our meetings" the London Transport Manager's Club had Sandy Duncan, the British Olympic Committee secretary, as its guest speaker last week. Sandy explained the problems of getting 400 athletes and their kit to the games. The 50 members and guests donated E25 to the Olympics fund and CM made it up to £50.
When the cheque was handed over Sandy was warned : "We'll all be watching you on the box, so take care how you spend It!"
