Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN 1977, 1978 and 1979 the Leyland Group will be producing four types of double-decker bus—and this situation could continue.

Although the Fleetline and Atlantean were due to be phased out when the B15 came on line in the autumn of 1977 they look like continuing in production for years. Leyland is still accepting orders for Atlanteans, and although no Fleetline orders are being accepted at present these may well be resumed again. Present orders for Fleetlines will take up until late 1979 to complete and include 425 of the " quietpack "—yet to appear in service—for London Transport.

A Leyland spokesman said that 106 B 15s would be produced in 1978 and production would then slowly build up. These 106 buses had not yet been allocated to operators who wished to try them. Some firm production orders for B15 had also been received but he could not disclose who these were from, said the spokesman.
