Tubeless tyres can be permanently repaired without special tools—only a pair of pliers is required.
That is the claim made by Narco National for its tubeless tyre Plug-Patch unit, The Plug-Patch incorporates a metal sheathed plug which is pushed by hand (after the application of chemical cure solution) through the tyre casing from the inside. The sheath is then simply pulled through from the outside with a pair of pliers and discarded.
The Plug-Patch is cold curing and has a fvin diameter stem; it is supplied in boxes of 50, with full user instructions.

Welding and cutting set
A combined welding and cutting set from Pressure Control—the Type 3 Ace —can be supplied as one unit (as pictured) and and housed in a compact metal case. This includes a shank, mixer and cutting attachments, swaged nozzles, cutting nozzles, spanner etc. If the whole set is not required, the shank, mixer and cutting attachments can be bought as separate components.
The shank, a one-piece aluminium attachment, is used with either welding or cutting heads. Both single and multi-stage gas regulators are available for use with it. The user can operate with either acetylene or propane fuel gases by fitting the appropriate nozzle to the head.
