BRICHTON Town Council will, it is reported, shortly consider a scheme for the joint operation of buses and trams in conjunction with Brighton, Hove and District Omnibus Co., Ltd.
At present, the corporation runs only trams and the outcome of the adoption of the plan would probably be their replacement by buses. It is stated that the scheme provides for the sharing, on a mileage basis, of revenue from the buses and trams.
