• The four-vehicle international licence held by John Gale, of Caerphilly, was suspended when he failed to attend a Cardiff disciplinary inquiry. South Wales TC John Mervyn Pugh said Gale had never owned any vehicles and he had been failed to respond to letters.
Maintenance warning
• Though taking no action against the licence held by Grants Construction Services (Fife) Ltd, trading as K MS Haulage, of Dalgety Bay, Scottish LA Michael Betts has issued the company with a formal warning about its future maintenance standards.
Raunch absent
• The licence held by Cardiffbased Clive Raunch was suspended when he failed to attend disciplinary proceedings before South Wales TC John Mervyn Pugh. The Commissioner said that if Raunch did not contact the Traffic Area within eight weeks, the licence would be revoked and he would consider disqualification.
Baggaley refused
• A bid for a new sevenvehicle national licence by Mansfield-based Baggaley Environmental Services Ltd was refused when the company failed to appear at a Manchester public inquiry before North Western Deputy TC Alan Cattell. Cattell said his information was that the company had ceased trading.
