• Spats is a new high-density polyethylene wheel cover which is quickly fitted and removed. The main purpose is to reduce sideways water spray which helps keep the vehicle cleaner and improves vision. It is also claimed to protect tyres from fork-lift truck damage and prevent curtain clips from hooking under and cracking mudguards. Spats are available in assorted colours and designs. Logos can be added. Price is about £60 per axle including all fittings.
