• TNT is negotiating with AAH Tyler over the future of a 100-vehicle maintenance contract following Bromley Council's sale of its direct labour organisation to Tyler for £10.5m.
TNT has a three-year contract to maintain the council's vehicles, but Tyler has not yet decided if it will keep TNT on to look after the vehicles it has bought from the council, ranging from light vans to tippers. Bromley's policy manager John Hazeldine says that Tyler will take on the DSO's staff, including drivers.
