Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first Iveco Ford 190.42 TurboStar tractive unit in the UK to be fitted with an air suspended lifting tag-axle will shortly be delivered to operator David W Haigh for use on the company's Scotland-Italy operation.

The 190.42 has been converted by Vehicle Systems Engineering of Hackney Wick, London, using its own VSE Turner 201 suspension system.

After shortening the unit's original 3.4m wheelbase, the tag-axle assembly is welded in to the chassis to give a 1.2m spread between rear axle centres, and an outer axle spread of 4.3m.

A rocker switch and warning light mounted on the cab's centre console operates the air lift, raising the tag axle by a maximum of 152nun.
