DIAL-A-RIDE services started in Milton Keynes this week. The service is provided by the National Bus Company in partnership with the Milton Keynes Development Corporation, and is supported by the local authorities.

The services operate in the rapidly expanding Woughton area of the new city, but slightly longer journey's are also undertaken. For 6p passengers are taken any

where in Woughton and for 12p to specific points, such as the Open University, outside the main area. Maximum planned waiting time is 30 minutes, the service runs seven days a week.
