fleets of motor coaches in the kingdom; they cater both for short trips and extended tours, and have provided vehicles suitable for each class of work. For the short trips 4-ton TillingStevens petrol-electric chassis, on which are mounted open coach bodies carrying 29 passengers in 'separate armchairs, arc employed, whilst the special touring coaches carry from 19 to 24 persons, according to the type; some of these also have Tilling-Stevens chassis, but some of the 24-seaters are of Saurer make.
In addition to these the company have a number of 14-seaters on pneumatic tyres, which are utilized in the case of under or over bookings, and three allweather coaches--a 10-seater de luxe on an Armstrong-Siddeley chassis and two 20-seaters an Tilling-Stevens chassis, one of which we illustrate. The latter vehicles present a very fine appearance and give thorough protection to both passengers and driver ; they are well lighted by large windows at the sides, back, and front, which are secured by thumla.screws, and can be removed in warm weather, whilst ventilation is secured by the aid of a clerestory roof. To facilitate ingress and egress the steps are widened by hinged flaps.
The programme for the coming season will consist of the same tours as were conducted last year, with the addition of one "Seeing Britain" tour, two tours
