TAKE THE NIGH ROAD • The Scottish Office has published a booklet for drivers using the A9 in Scotland. Called A9 The Highland Highway, it is aimed at improving driver awareness, and was commissioned following a series of serious accidents on the road last summer. Copies of the booklet are available from tourist information offices in the area.
