Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority is still fighting against proposals for drivers of minibuses in sub category D1 (those not used for hire or reward) to take a second test.

They are also required to meet higher medical standards than ordinary drivers under the present proposals.

The DVLA says people who want to drive minibuses for hire or reward should be able to take their test in any category D vehicle capable of a speed of 50mph (80km/h). Category D vehicles are passenger carrying vehicles with more than nine seats.

The planned introduction of a provisional PSV licence is likely to cause problems with on-theroad assessment, according to respondents to a DVLA consultation document on the proposed new driving licence regulations.
