• United Transport — the UK and European arm of BET-owned United Transport International — is selling its two West German and Dutch forwarding subsidiaries to the Swedish group, Bilspedition.
United's subsidiaries, Spedition United-WF and West Friesland Eurotransport, will both be absorbed into Bilspedition Autotransit operations in West Germany and the Netherlands.
United says that this sale complements that of its Belgian forwarding company to Bilspedition earlier this year.
