McLeod leads DAF Bus in the UK

• Several key appointments have been made by Daf Trucks (GB) at its Marlow headquarters.
Among them is Robert McLeod, who has been appointed manager of Daf Bus. Responsible for the total Daf Bus operations throughout the United Kingdom, McLeod has been associated with the motor industry since leaving school. He joined Daf Trucks in 1980 as Area Fleet Sales Manager, and was promoted to the position of dealer regional manager in 1982, responsible for Daf Trucks throughout the North of England until his new appointment. Sue Shillibier has been promoted to Coach Sales Administrator.
Roger Holiday has been promoted to field service manager, responsible for ensuring that Daf Trucks service objectives are achieved in support of Daf Trucks sales and marketing throughout the 40strong dealer network.
He was previously area service manager for the Midlands and South West of England and bus service manager.
The Daf sales team has al been strengthened with the appointment of Geoff Haspell, who joins the company from ERF and will be respot ible for consolidating Daf Trucks position in the weste region of the UK.
Other changes include the promotion to Fleet Service Manager of Brian Hannan he was previously area service manager; John Simpson, who has joined Daf fro Seddon Atkinson to take up the post of Area Service M2 ager, and Martin Clarke, now regional fleet service manager. He also was previously with Seddon Atki son.
