• More than one million bottles a month of Perrier Water are now being hauled by Railfreight and distributed by road from Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, Dudley.
This is the result of a partnership between Midland property firm LCP Properties and French shipper and distributor Jules Roy — under the trading name of LCP Jules Roy (UK).
The tonnage of all commodities to the warehousing complex from Europe and the UK is now running at 2,000 tonnes per month by rail alone. To celebrate the Perrier deal, Railfreight last week played host to British and overseas business people on a fact-finding tour of the Pensnett operation.
LCP has had a warehousing and distribution organisation for more than 20 years, run primarily as an additional service for estate tenants who either require temporary warehousing facilities or a distribution centre with good road links.
There are good links to the Ml. M5 and M6.
