Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DEVOTED though I am to The Ring, looking back I wonder whether Wagner's Lohengrin was a tactful musical choice to accompany a 45-second "Buy British" television commercial for the new Leyland Roadtrain. ,Could a stirring piece by a British composer not have been found? Is there nothing by Britten, Eiger (no, not the Enigma Variations), Vaughan Williams, or Walton, for instance, that would have been appropriate?

But perhaps music has no national significance, as the supporters of the Olympic Games try to believe of their activities.
