MARONER COACHES Ltd, of Braehead Garage, Neilston, Renfrewshire, had all its licences revoked by the Scottish Traffic Commissioners last month. The Commissioners said that Maroner did not appear to have appropriate financial standing.
The Commissioners heard that the company seemed to have no assets and considerable debts, and chairman Hugh McNamara said that the public record did not bear out the company's claim that it was associated to a company of good financial standing, For Maroner, solicitor Hugh Donald told the Commissioners that serious problems had been encountered as a result of vandalism, but Mr McNamara said that extenuating circumstances were irrelevant.
