NDEPENDENT stage-carriage operators are up in arms over lotteries Motor Traction service plans which follow a market Inalysis project survey.
Four operators have lodged bjections to the revisions which ffect routes in the Hanley, eek, Cheadle Longton, and lttoxeter areas.

Staffordshire County Council 3id it had reluctantly agreed to
the short period of consultation because of the serious financial plight of PMT.
PMT said it needed to reduce its operating costs urgently, and each week the introduction of the revisions were delayed would cost the company £10,000.
The Commissioners adjourned the hearing until July to allow further consultation.
