Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN ALTERNATIVE to replacing shafts that have been worn by oil seals (usually caused by dirt or grit getting under the lip of the seal) is now being offered by CR Industrial Products Ltd, Unit 8, Dutton Road, Aldermans Green Industrial Estate, Covent'''. CV2 2NW.

Speedi-Sleeve is the name given to the ultra-thin wall of highly tempered stainless steel which accepts the same size seal as the original shaft and can be installed in a few minutes, often without removing the shaft.

Each kit includes an installation toot which is placed over the sleeve and tapped into position. The integral flange can be removed if needed after the sleeve is in place.

Speedi-Sleeves in a range of popular sizes are available exstock from Main Line Bearings, Barnwell Services, Claude Rye Bearings and Vulvascott, who all have branches throughout the UK.
