Manufactured by Tayco Pty d, the tyre protector prevents a live stem from entering the re casing after a puncture.

The device consists of a lockand heat-resistant oulded plastic block with a intral hole to accommodate e valve stem. It is fastened in ace by a stainless steel spring p.

In the event of a puncture, e protector holds the valve aam at the usual angle outside e wheel rim, thus ensuring at the inner tube and flap remain in place and rotate at the same pace as the rm.

It is claimed that the device can be fitted in seconds, does not affect wheel balance, and will not rust or corrode.
